Equipping Ambassadors for Jesus Christ
By seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33), Mighty King High School helps students fan into flame their God-given gifts (2 Timothy 1:6). Through quality Christian education rooted in the classics and robust servant leadership development, students are equipped to excel in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity (1 Timothy 4:12).

Practical
At Mighty King, we place an equal emphasis on academic rigor and practical life skills. Project-based assignments (e.g. semester-long stock market simulation or year-long business start-up project), real world apprenticeships, and classes like Personal Financial Stewardship prepare students to excel in every area of life.

Robust
Effective Christian formation leads to robust servant leadership. We couple Servant Leadership Seminars with regular volunteer opportunities. In this way, students utilize their education to better serve their local community and bring to life the Biblical concepts learned in the classroom.

Organic
We holistically equip students to live healthy lives through education on nutrition and exposure to the inner-workings of American healthcare. Mighty King graduates will understand how God designed their bodies and know how to grow their own food and prepare nutritious meals, which gifts them the ability to advocate for themselves (or loved ones) in health challenges.

Excel in Speech
For students to “become all things to all people” (1 Cor. 9:22b) like the Apostle Paul, they must have the capability and flexibility to communicate effectively in diverse settings. Through analyzing and wrestling first-hand with various primary source texts, worldviews, and perspectives, students will be able to articulate the “why” behind their beliefs, decisions, and life choices.

Excel in Conduct
In short, students are encouraged to be reflections of Jesus here on earth. Mighty King students will learn how Jesus is the source–the fountain–that flows into every area of their life and, if they choose to be His disciple, they must imitate their Teacher [Jesus] in every way.

Excel in Love
Students will learn how to approach the world and our cultural context from the prism of Biblical love–valuing the Imago Dei in every human. Love, as defined in Scripture, is the bedrock of how we serve students and how we encourage students to serve each other and others, especially through our volunteer opportunities.

Excel in Faith
By modeling faith in and outside of the classroom, Mighty King hopes to cultivate a faith in students that manifest in tangible actions of faith, understanding that “faith apart from works is dead” (James 2:26). We pray that God may be seen in the details of our school and our students’/staff’s lives and that His name be glorified through His mighty works unlocked by our faith (Matthew 13:58).

Excel in Purity
Purity is a heart posture we hope to cultivate in students, with the understanding that “without holiness no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14, NIV). We empower students with the promise that Jesus set us free from the prison of sin (John 8:34-36; Romans 6:1-23) and the Holy Spirit enables us to walk by the Spirit and not “gratify the desire of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16).
